Directions
From Newcastle Central Station
By Metro: The closest Metro Station is at Newcastle Airport, from here you would require a taxi (approximately 3 miles).
By Road: Drive out of the station portico and pass three sets of traffic lights (one of which is pedestrian only). At the fourth set of lights turn left onto The Boulevard, follow this road over the Redheugh Bridge and keep to the right. Join the A1 Western By-pass following signs to the Airport and Hexham. Leave the by-pass to join the A69 to Hexham and Carlisle and follow this road until the second slip road signposted Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right round the roundabout and then straight over the second roundabout onto Ponteland Road. At the end of this road, turn left and travel for about 1.5 miles and then turn left into Western Way, signposted Darras Hall. Travel down Western Way and take the second turn on the right into Middle Drive. Follow this road until the mini roundabout where you turn left onto The Broadway and travel for about one hundred and fifty and then turn left into the second row of shops – Café Lowrey is the last building in the row.
From Newcastle International Airport
By Road: On leaving the airport turn right at the roundabout, signposted Ponteland, and travel for about 200 yards to next roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout for another 300 yards until the next roundabout (by Dobbies Garden Centre) then turn left onto Rotary Way (B6545). At the end of the road turn right at the roundabout and travel for 200yards until the next roundabout and turn left onto Middle Drive and continue until the mini roundabout where you turn right onto The Broadway and travel for about one hundred and fifty and then turn left into the second row of shops – Café Lowrey is the last building in the row.
From the South
By Road: Travel north on the A1 and follow round the Western By-pass and take the exit for the A69 to Hexham and Carlisle and follow this road until the second slip road signposted Throckley. By Road: Travel down the A1 and take the exit signposted Newcastle Airport. Follow this road to the roundabout at the Airport, go straight over this roundabout and travel for another 200 yards and again go straight over the roundabout for another 300 yards until the next roundabout (by Dobbies Garden Centre) then turn left onto Rotary Way (B6545).
